Inaugural Symposium on Health Equity in Hong Kong and Beyond and Student Seminar
27 – 28 May 2021 (Thursday and Friday)
The Symposium highlights significant health equity studies globally and its relation to key areas such as ageing, gender and policy. Lessons learnt from health equity studies in Hong Kong and its relevance to Asian economies will be discussed. Speakers include Prof Sir Michael Marmot, Director of UCL Institute of Health Equity and co-director of CUHK Institute of Health Equity, and experts from CUHK Institute of Health Equity, National Taiwan University, Seoul National University, University of Tokyo and World Health Organization.
